Wychwood Festival 2010

I’ve just been to my first festival ! A bit late at my age but it was fantastic. I went to the Wychwood Festival in Cheltenham. It’s a kid friendly, rural and popular festival which doesn’t suffer from the crowds like Glastonbury. It’s very chilled and not at all commercial. I’ve heard from some festival goers that many of the other festival venues in the UK have become far too corporate and expensive. This was quite the opposite. Many of the activities were free especially for the kids and the music was excellent. We were treated to the Lightning Seeds, The Happy Mondays, The Levellers and many more first class acts. My favorite was a relatively new band called The Goldheart Assembly. Watch out for them, I’m sure they’ll get a huge fan base.
Here are a few of my favorite shoots from the festival although it was mostly a camera free weekend !
