Tim Wallace working with a Hasselblad

I thought I’d share an excellent video with you, which was shot by my work colleagues Rob and Paul. The video features the excellent photographer Tim Wallace, who was recently a Hasselblad photgrapher of the month. Tim has done many roadshows for Calumet around the country and his shows are always well attended and very popular. He is extremely highly regarded in the industry and his work proves why. He uses Profoto lights and shoots all his work with a Hasselblad. Here’s a link to his website. http://www.ambientlife.co.uk/

Rob shot all the footage on a Canon Eos 5D MK2 with a variety of lenses. He also used a glide track, Zacuto Rig and a helicopter ! Nice !

Enjoy the video, especially as the weather is so cold here in the UK at the moment !
And a big well done to Tim, Rob and Paul.

Tim Simmons Photography

One of the best photographers based in London at the moment is Tim Simmons. I’ve been watching his work for a while and I’m staggered at how beautiful his images are.

There is a real dreamlike quality to the imagery yet they are magnificently composed, lit and super sharp.

His work reminds me of Gregory Crewdson but without the people. Sometimes you don’t need a strong narrative to create innovative work. Enjoy.
